Thank you for stopping by for a CUP! Our love to you all!
I just want you to slow down now and have a cup with me.
Greeting Cards…….Sympathy Cards………
OH MY! My Mom would send cards out for any event. One of our friends, Wanell Pate is so good at sending cards to Sharon and I, for birthdays, anniversaries, etc….a lost gift. With our society that wants everything so fast, we don’t send cards as a whole anymore. We might Facebook or tweet our sympathy or birthday wishes. Some may even call. I posted earlier today that America is spinning out of control. Our society as a whole is impersonal. It is caused by such things as the internet. I’m here to tell you that many people do not have a computer or internet, so your Facebook and email will not work.
I have included a picture of my late friend Marv Boone and his wife Shirley. If you read the CUP you know that Marv passed away a few weeks ago. I talked with Shirley yesterday and she had received our sympathy card, it brought her to tears……you see Shirley does not have a computer. The words on the card touched her heart, just like the words on the cards that my Mom used to send and the ones that Wanell send. We are an ‘instant oatmeal’ society. If it takes time to do something, we have a hard time. If we can’t do it by computer or texting we have a hard time, well, most of Americans anyhow. This is one reason we are in the pickle we are in!
We are an impersonal society. We are raising generation after generation that has a hard time with social skills. We are also forgetting a huge population that does not have a computer. I know this probably sounds old fuddy duddy to many, but this is what the Lord has shown me. This is why the Lord put me here at FGGAM, one person at a time. Dan at KDAZ AM730 had me on the air today and I shared a little about this. We are all responsible for what is happening around us, we continue to grow up generation after generation that does not know Jesus Christ. We need to pay attention to individuals and stop addressing the masses so much, too many are after the masses. We need to help the ‘American home’. The American family. We need to help raise up generation after generation that knows Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We need to go into the homes, the Mormon Church does this with huge success. Here at FGGAM I make house calls, the Church needs to do the same. It’s about what is happening in the homes of Americans!
When is the last time you have sent a card or written a letter to a friend?
WOW! I went off on a tangent…….LOL! we must personalize our Christianity to one person at anytime.
Unless America changes it’s ways, it will pass away……
America must return to God. God has not moved anywhere, it is America that has moved….in fact it’s moved very close to the cliff……
The American Church must move into the homes of Americans!
That’s right! INTO THE HOMES, GET OUT ON THE STREET!
Carry out the GREAT COMMISSION
That’s what we do here at FGGAM.
On your Facebook and twitter, etc…..the Church is talking to the same crowd over and over.
The American Church needs to get it’s hands dirty……
What the American Church is presently doing is failing……..The evidence is in the way the Country is falling……
Soon China could have more Christians than America! Here’s that report…….

Report: China Will Be The World’s Most Christian Nation In 15 Years
I thank the Lord for His beauty……..these are our first roses of the year and Irises. Pictured below. Thank YOU LORD!
The Lord has been teaching me much from growing flowers, bushes and trees. Last fall I dug up and removed what seemed to be tons of rock! The rock was around our bushes and I mean rock was the deal, it was that way when we moved in, rock everywhere! It was hurting the trees, bushes, roses…etc….too much rock! I had John a Master Gardner and Marcus from the Lawn Rangers look the situation over. They both agreed the heat created by the rock was hurting things and even bringing on diseases. They both stated that Albuquerque is number 4 in tree death because of too much rock! You just can’t dig up all the grass and put tons of rock everywhere. Anyhow I replaced the rock with good old fashion dirt! LOL! Good soil! Love this mushroom compost that John told me about! It’s kind’a like our lives, if we do not have a good foundation, good soil, we will struggle. That foundation has got to be in Jesus Christ. The most rich and solid foundation ever! Here is evidence of a rich, solid foundation………I have posted pictures of our first roses and Irises.
The Lord has also been showing me much about seasons…….old seasons and new seasons and how to end a season. I hold onto things sometimes too much! I have a hard time of letting go at times..In the last few weeks I have resigned from the Time To Revive Board, stopped coaching and playing softball, tough things for me to do. The toughest thing for me to let go is people, friendships I thought I had…so very hard on my heart and soul…and I have had to do that in the past year.. But God is teaching me….It’s all about what God wants us to do, we must hear God, the only way to hear God is to have a personal relationship with Him! Do you?
What kind of ground are you standing onto today?
April 23, 2014. I see you standing on the brink. Beware, don’t fall into the lake of doubt and unbelief. It is murky there. It is hard to stay afloat and not hit bottom. Once in there it is also easier to doubt other things that are good. Don’t be looking down. When concentrating on what might be wrong, you can lose your footing. I have called you to walk the high road. This high road is the road of faith. When looking down you see dirt and rocks in the path. I have called you to walk the high road. This high road is the road of faith. Look up.
Luke 18:7-8 (NLT) “Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” Bev Robinson
