(Mexico City) — Mexico is reeling from a powerful earthquake that struck near the resort city of Acapulco today. Buildings in Mexico City shook and sent people running out into the street. The USGS put the magnitude at 7.5. Mexico’s head of emergency services said on Twitter there are no reports so far of major damage or injuries. The quake is the largest to hit Mexico in several years.
