Hezbollah Leader Claims Responsibility For Attack On Israel

Nassrallah (Illustrative)Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah gave an interview with the Arab-language daily As-Safir on Monday, claiming responsibility for a roadside IED attack on an IDF vehicle in the Golan Heights region last month and lamenting his decision to delay as long as he did in entering the civil war in neighboring Syria. “The problem in Lebanon is not that Hezbollah went to Syria, but that we were late in doing so,” he said. “This resistance will remain solid, with its head hung high, protecting its people and its nation.” Meanwhile, violence continued to rage in Syria over the weekend, with at least 29 rebel operatives in the central city of Homs reportedly being killed on Sunday as a car bomb they were preparing exploded prematurely. Read More
