I thank the Lord for His beauty……..these are our first roses of the year and Irises. Pictured below. Thank YOU LORD!

The Lord has been teaching me much from growing flowers, bushes and trees. Last fall I dug up and removed what seemed to be tons of rock! The rock was around our bushes and I mean rock was the deal, it was that way when we moved in, rock everywhere! It was hurting the trees, bushes, roses…etc….too much rock! I had John a Master Gardner and Marcus from the Lawn Rangers look the situation over. They both agreed the heat created by the rock was hurting things and even bringing on diseases.  They both stated that Albuquerque is number 4 in tree death because of too much rock! You just can’t dig up all the grass and put tons of rock everywhere. Anyhow I  replaced the rock with good old fashion dirt! LOL! Good soil! Love this mushroom compost that John told me about! It’s kind’a like our lives, if we do not have a good foundation, good soil, we will struggle.  That foundation has got to be in Jesus Christ. The most rich and solid foundation ever! Here is evidence of a rich, solid foundation………I have posted pictures of our first roses and Irises.

The Lord has also been showing me much about seasons…….old seasons and new seasons and how to end a season. I hold onto things sometimes too much! I have a hard time of letting go at times..In the last few weeks I have resigned from the Time To Revive Board, stopped coaching and playing softball, tough things for me to do. The toughest thing for me to let go is people, friendships I thought I had…so very hard on my heart and soul…and I have had to do that in the past year.. But God is teaching me….It’s all about what God wants us to do, we must hear God, the only way to hear God is to have a personal relationship with Him! Do you?

What kind of ground are you standing onto today?

April 23, 2014. I see you standing on the brink. Beware, don’t fall into the lake of doubt and unbelief. It is murky there. It is hard to stay afloat and not hit bottom. Once in there it is also easier to doubt other things that are good. Don’t be looking down. When concentrating on what might be wrong, you can lose your footing. I have called you to walk the high road. This high road is the road of faith. When looking down you see dirt and rocks in the path. I have called you to walk the high road. This high road is the road of faith. Look up.

Luke 18:7-8 (NLT) “Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” Bev Robinson
