As seems to occur every couple of months now, there is news again of the possibility of the release of America’s only known Prisoner Of War believed to be held captive somewhere in Pakistan.
The Sgt has been held captive for approximately 5 years now and I pray that movement on the Afghanistan elections and as we draw closer to U.S. troop reductions or possible complete withdrawal from that country will provide a more optimistic opportunity for his release. Unfortunately, we’re dealing with terrorists, not an established government of an established country so I remain cautious in my hopes.
We here at FGGAM ask all to hold Bowe and his family up in your prayers for his health and hopefully his release in the near future.
