Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
This is a post from awhile back, but I was moved by the Lord to post it again on Mother’s Day. God Bless all Mother’s!!! I love my Mom so…..I miss her with all my heart and my Grandma’s and Aunts! I love how my wife, Sharon is a role model to all! I also think of my only sister on this day, Deb Rogers, who I have stood by and watched for years, what an AWESOME Mom she is! The picture below is of my Mom and Dad holding our son Lars, who graduates next Sunday from Columbia in Chicago, please keep him in your prayers. This picture was taken 22 years ago, the last time I saw my Dad alive. Mom went to heaven about 2 years later.
I also am praying this day for all the single Parent Mom’s! Love to you all!
So very thankful to be here with you all today! Amen!
When I awoke this morning the Lord directed me to these scriptures:
“I say with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ and their destiny is destruction” Paul in Philippians 3:18-19
Paul again in Romans 12:15…..”weep for those who weep”
I can say that I surely do weep for those that weep and I weep for those that don’t know Jesus and those that do but don’t act like it! Amen!
God show’s me everyday why He has put me here at FGGAM.
WOW WEE! We have been very busy, many have told me to rest more including FGGAM Board member Wanell Pate, so Sharon had the day off yesterday after her speaking engagement (Thank YOU LORD, for what you are doing with the messages you give Sharon! Tremendous evaluation sheets after this last one!, but this is business as usual for my Sharon) Anyhow we rested for part of the day, sorry I did not send a CUP, but I was up at 3am do to the news at FGGAM! By the way if you would like to book Sharon to speak, just call or email. Sharon brings a message of hope in her presentations!
Most of our generation were HOME SCHOOLED in many ways. Amen to that! Pictured to the left is my Mom, Ruth Irene Moede. This is her High School graduation picture. She was an angel on earth, now an angel in heaven.
They called my Mom back home, ‘Wally’s shadow’, but what they did not know is that Mom was right by Dad’s side helping him in everything he did and also cooking at the school and teaching us kid’s right from wrong, along with Dad. The All-American family. Mom and Dad working together in raising and providing for a family.
Some of you will find the below funny, but I think you also will relate to this as to what your folks taught you. You see, a top reason why America is in such sad shape is the home, the family is being ripped to shreds. You could pass a boat load of legislation to rule over the family but unless people are connected to God it just means continued failure. You see as many tell me, I had an All-American ,Midwest childhood! Nothing better than that! God now has me at FGGAM using my life to share what ‘can be’ with God.

WOW! The following really blessed me, I am sure it will bless you!
At times we see fruit. At times we don’t.
Jesus gave His disciples a trustworthy promise that if we stick to His side and stay tight to God’s will, that our lives and our efforts will bear fruit. He said in John 15:4-5, Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. When we remain in Jesus – when we trust God by turning to the Holy Spirit for guidance and to His Word for truth – you and I will bear fruit … whether we see it or not.
A person of faith believes God’s promises because His promises are connected to His character. God’s promises aren’t flippant. They’re secure! The apostle Paul said it like this: Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us. By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete (2 Corinthians 1:20-22, MSG).
You see, friend, the yes-and-amen promise here is that we will bear fruit, not that we will necessarily see the fruit in our own timing or even in our own lifetimes. Understanding this promise sure does help me to trust God more. And further, knowing that our faithfulness will directly impact how much fruit will be produced should challenge us to remain faithful!
All of the promises of our Covenant God are “yes” and “amen.” We can trust His Word to be true because the character of our God is unblemished. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. When we remain in Him, we will bear fruit. Sometimes we will see it. Sometimes we won’t.
Our God-confidence is bolstered when we remember that He is faithful, and that our job is to listen, seek, and obey – to remain in Him – not to try to control the outcome of the seeds that He instructs us to sow. When we grow in our understanding of His character and rest in the knowledge that He is for us, not against us (Jeremiah 11:29), this helps us to trust Him. Let’s strive to be women who take God at His Word and believe His “Yes” and “Amen” promise!
Let’s Pray
Dear Lord, Thank You for planting a seed of faith in the soil of my heart through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please grow my faith. Help me to trust You more and remind me to fix my eyes on You, not on the results of my life investments.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.
