A few months ago I posted a story how Mariano Rivera helped save a church by donating the money to rebuild it, now this: Retired Closer Mariano Rivera has written a book! This is great because Rivera is a Christian and will one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It’s great to see a Christian baseball player write a book on his life and the game, a clean book, a book how God has worked in his life! This book, I believe will help bring people to Jesus Christ. Rivera shares on how his Dad would beat him, how God saved his life, it’s very inspiring. In my mind Rivera is the best closer in the history of the game, at the age of 44 he could still be pitching! He still has it! If he stepped on the field today, he still would be the best closer in the game. But God has other plans for this man of God, which includes this God inspired book.
