Very long but such a rewarding day in our Lord!
I stopped in Magdalena on the way back and had supper with Pastor Paul Holt, his lovely wife Jo, and son Phil! GREAT TIME!
Then when I got back home, Sharon had made me my favorite all time salad….Tuna ….it’s a salad that my Mom would make us and Sharon has duplicated it! PTL! I am so blessed!
I pray you all had a good Father’s Day in the house of the Lord.
I had the blessing of preaching in Reserve yesterday at the Baptist Church!

Thank the Lord I was not texting or talking on the phone when an Elk ran across the road on the way to Reserve! PTL! last week the Pastor who was preaching in Reserve got hit by one!
8 hours in the car yesterday! A bit tired this morning! But the Lord gave me good sleep, getting ready for our radio show at 12:05pm on KDAZ AM730! PTL!

Speaking of a friend, I told the folks the story of Michelle who thought her best friend was her boyfriend, until God shook her one night and told her He was her best friend. God told her, no more sex with this man, you are not married. He also told her no more booze! Shortly thereafter, Michelle kicked the boyfriend out, he was mad, he said,” Just because you have changed, what about me?” She said, “I thought you were my best friend, but all you want is sex and won’t marry me, I have found Jesus, my best friend.” This took place at Christmas, around New Years Eve Michelle was baptized and gave up the booze. Michelle then went to the bar where she would booze it up with her new hat on, that says, “I love Jesus” She sat at the bar and drank water and shared about her new best friend with everybody!
I met Michelle in Missouri, she is a waitress at a restaurant I stopped at for “comfort food” on my trip back from Chicago. I shared about that a few weeks ago.

One of the blessings I have of going to preach every third Sunday at the Reserve, New Mexico Baptist Church is visiting with my buddy Tyler Dempsey. One of my messages months ago was, “Using Our God Given Talents”, and Tyler came up to me afterwards and said, “I want to be the Tim Tebow of the NBA!” Amen! Praise God! I love it when people, especially young people, have Godly dreams and goals! I love young people, the future of the church! The Reserve Baptist church is blessed with young people, they invite the youth! Tyler’s family does a good job of inviting others to come.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Tim. 4:12
I talked to Darry Hanson’s Mom (Darry passed away of brain cancer at age 57) late this afternoon on my way back from Preaching in Reserve NM and It’s been a tough time for Darry’s Mom and Dad and his sister Penny and brother Greg. Bonnie Brown Caldwell and all of Darry Hanson friends a Memorial is in the planning stages where Darry’s ashes will be spread over his favorite lake near Detroit Lakes Minn. No service is planned in Windom. Your prayers for Darry’s folks Janet and Dewey and sister Penny Hanson and Greg Are so much appreciated. God bless the memory of our dear friend Darry Hanson. Darry was a man who cared for others very much, he was a loyal friend, We were cousins, played together as kid’s. Darry was quite the fisherman, he loved to teach kid’s how to fish!
