Gaza-based terror organizations announced they would initiate a 24-hour cease-fire on Monday morning to mark the Moslem holiday of Id al-Fitr. However, on Monday afternoon, a large barrage of rockets was fired at Israeli cities and four IDF soldiers were killed and many more wounded by a mortar round which landed amidst them at their staging area near the border with the Gaza Strip.
