I was a child of World War II, in Hungary. When we finally escaped our war-torn, newly formed Communist country, that wanted to harm us, in the Fall of 1947, we ended up in a D.P.Camp, in Austria, where we lived for 4 years. But in 1951, we got lucky. The United States of America was giving us a chance at a new life! And for that chance, I will always be grateful!
Happy Birthday, Sweet Land of Liberty! Happy 4th of July to all my American friends. xoxo
