On reflection, I frequently am told – Rick, you are an American hero.
While I did have quite a career during my 22 years in the United States Navy including two trips to Vietnam followed by a number of other events up to and including Desert Storm, – I can not make claim on being any kind of a hero. I CAME HOME!
The following video story is a story of a TRUE American Hero and a TRUE Hero in God’s Army making the ultimate sacrifice in combat in the Korean War while also performing his duties in God’s Army simultaneously!
This is very touching, An absolutely amazing and deeply touching story of a Catholic priest who was loved by men of all faiths. A true hero!
