Our Dear friend Paul Dokken, who I went to school with back in Windom, Minnesota just returned from a trip to Israel. Here is what Paul posted on his Facebook: Hi Everybody:
Back from Israel. Tel Aviv was free from rockets the day we were there, but 40 miles to the south was quite ugly. Crowds at the open air market were quite light. Beautiful beach of Tel Aviv from my hotel. In the distance is the quaint village of Joffa (Joppa in Bible) where Peter raised Tabitha in Acts 9 and where Jonah began his adventure.
