Good Morning Beautiful People…. Overcome Your Circumstances by Worship

good-morning-beautiful-people

This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Yes I will, I have made my choice again today. Yesterday I came home from church after an amazing service both rich in Word (Bible) and worship, and praised some more. I began to put music on and sing and worship my King. I want to know him, I want to know him the best I possibly can know him. I want to know the heart of my God. Even thru difficult times he is worthy of our praise. We all have or will have circumstances that we will need to overcome. I was invited to attend an Overcomers Conference a few years ago with Tanya Jalbert. I prayed for women that had overcome the most horrific situations. Thru an interpreter I prayed for strength, peace, joy for these dear women. I declared the Word of the Lord over each of their lives. I took along my writings and gave them free to anyone who desired them. Jesus was a free gift to me, he cost me nothing in dollars and cents and I wanted to freely give them the same hope. That’s where I first heard Robert Philibert as he humbly played his guitar for worship. I was blessed at his pure heart as he led the worship in both English and French. Robert recently along with Tanya Jalbert and a few other worshippers began launching a CD called Intimate coming out this fall. You can listen to their samples on www.reachoutworship.com and meet them both on you tube. As I listened to one of their songs yesterday Apart From You I began to reflect what my life was like before surrendering to Jesus. Yes I believed in God, yes I believed there was more than just going to church and yes I wanted to embark on the fullness of the journey. The trials came and I soon learned that I could do nothing apart from Christ, just like the song said. According to the Word (Bible) in Psalm 34 it states; praise him in all things and in James 1:2 to consider it all joy the various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. In simple everyday language he is saying trust me, praise me and his joy would be our strength. Wow, so easy to read but it’s our obedience to his Word that brings change.
Today, whatever circumstance you find yourself in, can you step out and praise him? You were created to praise him. Worship is a personal choice, no one can force you and no one can do it for you. You choose when, you choose how, but in the end you will receive the blessing. You will feel revived, refreshed and the barriers built up in your heart will be torn down. Today let God pour more of himself into your heart. Let his love flow freely from the throne room into your heart. Then you will be a conduit of his love to others in the world where so many are hurting. A few years ago I read the book It’s Time To Move Now (check it out on Amazon by Tanya Jalbert). I must agree the time to step out and walk in obedience and worship the King is now. Yes we have all been done wrong, and if you haven’t yet let me tell you it will happen. So the time to let go is now, the time to move on is now, the time to praise his name is now. Now is the time to worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship him (John 4:23). Don’t you feel like praising him? Come on, step out, the time is now. Let’s Pray: Lord thank you for your Word. In Psalm 9:1-2 it states 1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. Today, I choose to rise above any and all circumstances and sing my praises to you. I will trust you at all times. You are a good Father and I will praise your name. I thank you for your joy that is my strength (Nehemiah 8:10). I choose to praise you, to worship you and to bless your Holy name Jesus. Amen
