Residents of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv were shocked Tuesday night to hear air raid sirens, followed by explosions as the Iron Dome air defense system intercepted projectiles launched at the cities from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip and others smashed into buildings and cars, causing damage but no fatalities. Public bomb shelters were opened in Jerusalem while the IDF announced it had counted at least 120 rockets fired into the Jewish State on Tuesday alone.
