Tens of thousands of Israelis attended the funeral of Gil-Ad Shaer, Eyal Yifrah and Naftali Fraenkel in Modi’in on Tuesday afternoon, with Fraenkel’s mother Rachel eulogizing her son and speaking for millions of other Israeli mothers by saying “we will have to learn to sing without you,” adding that the many prayers for her son’s safe return were not wasted but “you can not always change a decree.
