Being still by not striving against God and trying to take control. I know first hand that is a challenge for many of us. But picture yourself striving against God, not a good picture, right?

making us a people he can be proud of, energetic in goodness.

It is He and only He, the divine Surgeon, who can reach into His kit and pull out a needle of faith and a thread of hope and stitch our wounded souls back together. So it is that we put our trust in the Master Physician to do His work in our lives.

Update on Brian Neff: He went through successful surgery to remove his appendix and according to his Mom, Shona, should come home today. We give thanks to the Lord for the good news! Amen!
I am AWE of GOD, yesterday the car would not start, taking Buffy to vet to get stitches out, Alex our wonderful neighbor starts the car for me and I go to get gas and car stalls again. Another nice man helps jump start the car and I make it to the Vet, then on way home I stop and see Rusty at Auto Zone and he switches out the battery and no charge, NO CHARGE FOR ANYTHING! The favor of God! A recent widow Shirley calls me and says I so much miss Marv and I do not want to burden the kids, but when I think of Marv, I think of you his best freind.can we talk?..made me cry..we had a Godly conversation. the other thing I want to share as me and the pups were driving I turned on K-LOVE and I sang praises to God, so I encourage us to pray and sing our way through minor and major ordeals. Amen! I know first hand it is not always easy to sing our way through trials and tribulations……and for some it is not easy to pray. We are here to help you, contact us if you need to.
I thank the Lord also that Buffy does jot have an infection from her surgery and we await the final determination of what type of cancer she has, but we know who the ultimate Doctor is! Amen! Thank YOU LORD for your glory!
Thursday is the funeral for my 93 year old Uncle Bob Caraway of Upland, California. Bob is my Mom’s brother. Uncle Bob lived a glorious life, but not without challenges. Bob graduated from Windom, Minnesota High School in 1938, served in WWII in the United States Navy, 1942-46. My favorite story of Uncle Bob’s service in WWII is that he served in a submarine and was on a secret mission for almost 2 years. Grandpa and Grandma Caraway did not know here he was at. Uncle Bob never spoke of that time to anybody! There is just something very special about those WWII men and women! He was a strong man of God, a shining light for us all, a great example of how to live a Godly life. After his service in the Navy, he became an executive at Lockheed until he retired. Uncle Bob’s wife Grace, passed away many years ago, as did his only daughter Evan. His only son Ty is still living and handling funeral arrangements. I asked the Lord what verse fit’s Uncle Bob, and the Lord showed me……Joshua 1:9 “ …Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Uncle Bob would always call me to check in and see how we were doing and see how the ministry was going. After my Mom and Dad passed away many years ago Bob would call more frequently, saying it was his christian duty to look after us. My Dad’s brother Uncle Joe Moede, who passed away in 2011, did the same, another great man of God, who said after Mom and Dad went to heaven that he would look after us, call us, offer advice, he was there to talk, to show us Godly love. We sure were blessed with two Godly Uncle’s Bob Caraway and Joe Moede. Thank YOU LORD!

This is awesome! How Great is our God!
Our Creator and Redeemer . . . And do we THINK about it???
God’s accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. . . .. .
For example:
-the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days;
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days
The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.
(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)
God’s wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant.
The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs. For this reason He gave it
four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.
The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.
A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.
How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!
God’s wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.
-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.
-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.
-All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundred fold all even numbers.
God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day.
Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!
The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for
His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life.
If you try to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure.
Only the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them to a profitable end.
