Israeli leaders have given few hints about their plans for an end-game in the current round of hostilities with Hamas and the other terrorist groups firing rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Following a Security Cabinet meeting Sunday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave no indication that a ground operation was imminent, nor did he speak about when the air campaign would end. Negotiations for a cease-fire were also reportedly discussed during the meeting, possibly with a third party in the Arab would or the US. Shortly before the meeting Netanayahu reportedly spoke by phone with US Secretary of State John Kerry who said the Obama Administration is growing “concerned about escalating tensions on the ground” in Gaza.Read More
