Good morning to you all!

We are praying for you!

We want to wish Shari Hardway Johnson a Happy Birthday! Shari is such a blessing, she is one of our main inspirational writers here at FGGAM! We love her so! She is one of God’s angels walking this earth! PTL! What a wonderful testimony you are to us Shari!

Today is the funeral of my Uncle Wayne Caraway in Windom, Minnesota. Uncle Wayne was 91, his wife, my Aunt Doris survives, she is 87. Uncle Wayne is my Mom’s brother. They grew up on a farm just outside Windom in Jackson County. Uncle Wayne farmed with my Grandpa Caraway. Grandpa passed onto heaven years ago at age 94. Wayne continued farming the land and several years ago his son-in-law, Rick Nelson joined him. I have such fond memories of the Farm! We used to go out to Grandpa and Grandma’s on Sundays after Church for dinner and in the spring and summer always play baseball in the yard! It was a heavenly life! Amen! Memories forever! It was one year ago this month that Uncl;e Wayne’s granddaughter Tiffany was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Sturgis, SD.  Tiffany is the daughter of Rick and Barb Nelson. The family has been a tremendous testimony to us all through this tragedy. I have seen my cousin Barb grow so much in our Lord, she is strong in our Lord! Amen! Please pray for the Caraway and Nelson families. In tribute to my Uncle Wayne, I share with you this morning Paul Harvey’s words about Farmers…….oh, they are so special! There is nothing like being connected to God’s soil!

And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, “I need a caretaker.” So God made a farmer.

God said, “I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the fields, milk cows again, eat supper and then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board.” So God made a farmer.

“I need somebody with arms strong enough to rustle a calf and yet gentle enough to deliver his own grandchild. Somebody to call hogs, tame cantankerous machinery, come home hungry, have to wait lunch until his wife’s done feeding visiting ladies and tell the ladies to be sure and come back real soon — and mean it.” So God made a farmer.

God said, “I need somebody willing to sit up all night with a newborn colt. And watch it die. Then dry his eyes and say, ‘Maybe next year.’ I need somebody who can shape an ax handle from a persimmon sprout, shoe a horse with a hunk of car tire, who can make harness out of haywire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. And who, planting time and harvest season, will finish his forty-hour week by Tuesday noon, then, pain’n from ‘tractor back,’ put in another seventy-two hours.” So God made a farmer.

God had to have somebody willing to ride the ruts at double speed to get the hay in ahead of the rain clouds and yet stop in mid-field and race to help when he sees the first smoke from a neighbor’s place. So God made a farmer.

God said, “I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bails, yet gentle enough to tame lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-combed pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the broken leg of a meadow lark. It had to be somebody who’d plow deep and straight and not cut corners. Somebody to seed, weed, feed, breed and rake and disc and plow and plant and tie the fleece and strain the milk and replenish the self-feeder and finish a hard week’s work with a five-mile drive to church.

“Somebody who’d bale a family together with the soft strong bonds of sharing, who would laugh and then sigh, and then reply, with smiling eyes, when his son says he wants to spend his life ‘doing what dad does.'” So God made a farmer.

Amen! PTL! For Farmers! Farmers made America Great! Amen!

Okay………..now to this………I Preached on this yesterday at Emmanuel Ministries………

Albuquerque Violent Crime: Two Dead In 3 Days, Three Others Injured By Gunfire

I am upset today, upset and sad……..at the violent crime happening in Albuquerque, the murders. It’s like so many so called leaders don’t get it. This is a heart problem, it’s not a political problem.  It’s time we face this problem of the heart, soul and mind. Things are going to get worse in Albuquerque and New Mexico, in the United States, and the World unless………..Why are we afraid to admit crime is out of control?

Hearts need to be given to Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 57:20 says, “The wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot rest, and its waters toss up and mire and dirt.” The sea does not need anything special to produce mire and dirt; that is the result of its natural motions. This is also true of us when we are under the condition of sin. The natural motions of our lives produce mire and dirt, Sin is a part of the internal structure of our lives. No special effort is needed to produce it. No wonder we feel trapped.

Our ordinary method of dealing with ingrained sin is to launch a frontal attack. We rely on our willpower and determination. Whatever may be the issue for us—–anger, fear, bitterness, gluttony, pride, lust, substance abuse, even robbery and murder—-we determine never to do it again; we pray against it, fight against it, set our will against it. But the struggle is in vain, and we find ourselves once again morally bankrupt or, worse yet, so proud of our external righteousness that “whitened sepulchers” is a mild description of our condition. In his excellent book entitled ‘Freedom From Sinful Thoughts’ Heini Arnold writes. “We….want to make it quite clear that we cannot free and purify our own heart by exerting our own ‘will’.

Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18

The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of God. The natural mind walks a path of hopelessness and self-destruction.
