French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius issued a statement regarding the current round of hostilities between Israel and terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip on Monday, declaring that world powers have the right and obligation to impose a solution on the Israelis and the Palestinians to end decades of conflict which the parties have not been able to resolve themselves. “Cease-fire, imposition of a two-state solution and security for Israel – there is no other way,” he said.
