The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) issued a statement on Monday describing a plan by the Islamist terror militia Hamas, which already rules the Gaza Strip, to launch a violent takeover of the Palestinian Authority’s governance of the Palestinian communities in the West Bank, as well as carrying out a renewed campaign of terrorism against Israel. The plot, according to the Shin Bet, was directed from Hamas leadership based in Turkey and heavily reliant on money and operatives from cells in Jordan.
