Officials from Israel, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority and the US continued indirect talks with delegations from Gaza-based terrorist organizations in Cairo Wednesday afternoon as the hours till the current cease-fire expires at midnight ticked away. Hamas officials have declared that they are not willing to extend the cease-fire or moderate their demands, essentially offering Israel a take-it-or-leave-it offer to lift the blockade with prevents them from importing weapons, as well as several other concessions, or they will resume firing rockets at Israeli cities immediately after midnight. Hamas has also declared that if this cease-fire ends without their demands being met, there won’t be any more cease-fires.
