The Washington Times is reporting this morning that the U.S. Coast Guard fired a warning shot an Iranian flagged ship in the Persian Gulf. U.S. Coast Guard officials say the encounter did not escalate and that both vessels went their separate ways after the warning shot was fired. More here: fw.to/iJmIt7
