Israeli Troops Carry Out Anti-Terror Raids In West Bank

The IDF carried out raids on several suspected terrorist hideouts in the West Bank overnight Tuesday, killing one individual who was part of a mob attack on the soldiers sent to arrest a suspect. Seven other individuals were taken into custody. Meanwhile, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch visited the French Hill neighborhood in Jerusalem on Tuesday to reassure residents that law and order would be preserved in the capitol, despite riots in some areas over recent days. The French Hill neighborhood was the site of particularly violent disturbances this week, including an attack on a gas station which nearly led to a large fire before it was contained by police and fire rescue units.
