From 1935 until 2010, this was a drinking establishment, with some of the most hideous acts of crime including murder. BUT in 2010, through prayer and faith, it has become a Spirit-filled church that regularly experiences miracles, wonders, healings, and salvations. Jesus is worshipped and glorified. The best way to describe this church is “The Book of Acts.” I took this photo tonight (Bob Benoit). It is indicative of the redemptive power and glory of God (plus a great picture of what New England looks like at this time of year). All I can say is, “Praise the Lord.” Thank you Indian Lake Community Church … for loving God, loving people and changing lives (shared with permission from Bob Benoit).
Today, let’s pray this prayer together and declare in faith 1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18; Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for our communities all across this globe today. You are no respecter of persons or churches. We ask you to turn our towns and cities towards you. Thank you for changing them like you did in the book of ACTS. You did it for this community of believers and we know you’ll do it for ours. We praise your Holy name Jesus. Amen
