This has been a reckless operation from the start! Both for safety and taxpayer money, we have talked about this foolishness for years, on the radio and TV and now at FGGAM. Now the family of the person killed and the person injured are paying the price. A Huge blow to New Mexico Spaceport and millions and millions of taxpayer dollars…it’s New Mexico’s “White Elephant” and we have former Governor Bill Richardson and present Governor Susanna Martinez, who continued the project and the State Legislature to thank for this waste, since the start of this “White Elephant” many, like us here at FGGAM have spoken out against such a dumb thing! Just like Richardson’s pet project the Rail Runner, or as we call it, “The Debt Runner” Politicians continue to spend OUR money in such wasteful ways:

Federal accident investigators are headed to a desert crash site where a winged
spaceship designed to give wealthy tourists a high-altitude view of Earth broke
up during a test flight, killing one pilot and badly injuring another. Also
going to the area about 120 miles north of downtown Los Angeles was British
billionaire Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Galactic, whose SpaceShipTwo blew
apart after being released from a carrier aircraft Friday. It was the second
fiery setback for commercial space travel in less than a week. A huge blow to New Mexico and millions and millions of dollars the state has spent on it’s Spaceport, which we call New Mexico’s “White Elephant”
