The Cry of the Poor

I took this picture on the way home last night from Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, New Mexico. I just love those folks, WOW! Do they know how to serve Jesus and His people! Amen! I helped out at the food pantry. I was the one blessed as I served. My heart sinks at the needs of this world. From the poor in New Mexico, which the number is growing, not shrinking, don’t listen to the politicians! The poor and dying children in Syria and Iraq. There is no political solution here, the solution is always God and His Word, Amen! Many are just praying that they will see the next sunset.  Let us all take a washbasin and towel to the world. Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matt. 23: 11

In the Kingdom of God we find…..

The highest place is found as we take the lowly place.

Strength is found as we discover our weakness.

Fullness comes as we empty ourselves.

Life is gained as we lay it down for love’s sake,

Riches are gained as we give them away.

Greatness comes as we carry a towel and washbasin

into every circumstance and relationship in life.
