The school district of Lincoln, Nebraska has instructed its teachers to stop referring to students by “gendered expressions” such as “boys and girls,” and use “gender inclusive” ones such as “purple penguins” instead.
“Don’t use phrases such as ‘boys and girls,’ ‘you guys,’ ‘ladies and gentlemen,’ and similarly gendered expressions to get kids’ attention,” reads a handout from the Lincoln Public Schools that was given to teachers.
The document also warns against asking students to “line up as boys or girls,” and suggests asking them to line up by whether they prefer “skateboards or bikes/milk or juice/dogs or cats/summer or winter/talking or listening.”
“Always ask yourself . . . ‘Will this configuration create a gendered space?’” the document says.
“The agenda we’re promoting is to help all kids succeed,” Brenda Leggiardo the district’s coordinator of social workers and counselors stated, “We have kids who come to us with a whole variety of circumstances, and we need to equitably serve all kids.”
The handout, provided by Gender Spectrum, a website which “provides education, training and support to help create a gender sensitive and inclusive environment for children of all ages” does not explain what to do if all of the children like juice or skateboards. But it does suggest teachers “create classroom names and then ask all of the ‘purple penguins’ to meet at the rug.”
Really? Purple penguins? I thought Nebraska was immune to this garbage but I guess I was wrong.
The folks at Gender Spectrum admit there will be times when teachers will have to use a gender-specific term.
“When you find it necessary to reference gender, say ‘Boy, girl, both or neither,’” the handout states. “When asked why, use this as a teachable moment. Emphasize to students that your classroom recognizes and celebrates the gender diversity of all students.”
Lincoln Public Schools Superintendent Steve Joel said Thursday there’s “absolutely no truth” to news and blogger accounts that his district is mandating that teachers replace the terms boys and girls with gender-neutral terms.
Committee members shared the materials with staff for discussion and consideration, he said. The recommendations in the materials have not been adopted as district policy, he said.
School officials claim that teachers and administrators were asking for such materials to deal with children confused about their gender due to parental corruption. It should be noted that the schools are looking to support such confusion not correct it.
Joel said he’s proud of his teachers and administrators for being willing and open to gaining a better understanding of student needs.
“We’re doing the right thing,” he said.

Our schools have been and are being used to indoctrinate our children in the rebellion against God. Following this statement of fact is the commandment of God.

The reason there are groups working to emasculate young boys and defeminate young girls is to discourage reproduction in favor of self gratification. If the people of Lincoln do not stand up to this sinful political correctness the move away from God will destroy their children.
