Sometime over this last weekend, someone broke into the Know Now Medical Mobile Unit and stole everything they could move, including the ultrasound machine and our printer and the gas money. Joan believes they were looking for drugs, although of course, we did not have any on the RV. Joan is waiting for the police and I will be headed that way in a few minutes. We have to inventory what is missing. This is the first insurance claim that I can recall in all the years which I have been here. Our deductible is $5,000. I am going to call the insurance company as soon as I am done with this e-mail.

Today I faced a most tense situation……..in trying to help someone……..God said, Show them my love……….understand them…………It ended wonderfully!

Today a man called and said, “Dewey, I have nothing, I am naked, I feel naked,,,” his support check and not come and he needed help…..Praise God we arranged help……listen to me know…..many are in need and the situation is worsening……we must be aware of this……by the way new stat:From NBC News:  The wealthy people are giving less to charities in the United States while the Middle Class and POOR and giving more!

Yesterday God had me visit a man, today the man called and said “I confessed my sin and now I am free! Thank you for coming to visit me!”

Today my brother Daryl was in a crises in Yankton, South Dakota, he did not have a phone today and it caused him great duress. Our family was able to get Daryl some money to get his phone turned back on by wiring it to him, Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart. What made me cry about this is that I had to get Daryl the reference number so he could claim the money. I called the Yankton Police Department and Officer Steve went over and gave it to him, I told the Officer tearfully that I really appreciated his kindness and he said, “I just try to treat people the way I would want to be treated.” WOW! It brought tears to my eye’s……..how this officer took time to help my brother. I told Sharon I really believe people want to be nice and love on others…….I have to believe that. Now as Sharon said there are those that are just plain MEAN..Drugs? Hate? Abused?

Like these thugs!

This Sunday at Revive Church in Rio Rancho at 10am I will be delivering the message, if you do not have a home church I pray you will come. The Church is located at 800 Polaris Blvd in Rio Rancho.

As we think about the “Bride of Christ”, The Church, The Fellowship of Believers- the main ingredient that is needed to maintain that fellowship is LOVE!

The bible says that LOVE comes before anything else! It must be the foundation of everything we do. Holding others accountable is also part of love.

John 13:34-35New International Version (NIV)

³⁴ “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. ³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

So we are ion the NT and Jesus is saying, A NEW COMMAND I give to you…..

“COMMAND: means it’s not optional!

And then He starts talking about “Loving one another”

In fact, He says it THREE TIMES! in this text!   “Love one another”

A young father heard a commotion out in his back yard. When he walked out the back door, he saw his daughter and several of her friends raising their voices and pushing each other around! He yelled at them saying, “STOP THAT FIGHTING! YOUR SUPPOSED TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER!” His daughter yelled back, “IT’S OKAY DAD! We ARE JUST PLAYING CHURCH!!!!”

Sadly that’s the picture that many people get of churches….I get that all the time! yes!

Bickering, fighting, disputes, pushing each other around!!!

Over the years, there have been many books written on the subject of Church disputes and how to resolve them.

It’s a terrible shame that a single book ever needed to be written on that subject! Amen?
