Be Free….No Jealousy Allowed

Today, let’s pray scriptures on being content.

Hebrews 13:5

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Philippians 4: 11-13

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Song of Solomon 8:6-7 

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.  Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.

But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.  Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.  For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

John 8:38

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Lord, thank you for contentment. You said to be content in all situations. Today, I pray you would break jealously off of your people by the power of your Word. I pray that Faith would arise and lives would increase in walking in the Spirit of the Lord.

Today, ask for forgiveness for works of the flesh as listed in Galatians 5 (adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,  envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God). Today, Lord all across this globe we Declare your people are coming up higher and following after the spirit of the Lord and denying the works of the flesh.
