Residents of Jerusalem were targeted by a vehicular attack on pedestrians waiting at a light-rail station in eastern Jerusalem on Wednesday. The driver, who rammed his van into another crowd moments later and then attacked pedestrians with a metal bar after crashing his van before being shot and killed by police, was identified as Ibrahim al-Akri, a resident of the Shuafat neighborhood and a known supporter of the Islamist terror militia Hamas.
