Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warm words of praise Thursday for the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and IDF following a revelation that a large-scale terrorist attack, sponsored by the Islamist terror militia Hamas and planned to be carried out against Jerusalem’s Teddy Kollek Stadium, had been foiled. Related attacks planned against Israelis in the capital’s light rail system, car bombings, and kidnappings of Israelis in the West Bank and overseas were also stopped by the arrest of dozens of Hamas operatives in recent weeks.
