Gas Prices Continue To Fall And Keystone Pipeline Hopes Are Alive

Gas dropped to $2.51 a gallon today in Albuquerque, New Mexico and by the time you read this I would not be surprised if you can find gas in the Duke City below $2.50 a gallon! The U.S. Energy Dept. says U.S. consumers will save $61 billion on gas in 2015 compared to 2014. Predicted gas price for 2015 is an average of $2.94 a gallon, that coming from the U.S. Energy Dept. Also long stalled legislation to get the Keystone pipeline built got new life yesterday after Senate Democrats suddenly abandoned their stupid efforts to block the measure. However it came about as an effort in hopes of helping endangered Sen. Mary Landrieu keep her seat in energy rich Louisiana. The Democrats continue to play games with our potential to become independent of the evil in the mid-east. Only if the government would leave the oil companies and the U.S. working people alone to do their jobs, we could say good riddance to the evil mid-east once and for all!
