PRAISE REPORT: The miracle of Shannon! Pastor Marty reports that Shannon has been released from the hospital on Wednesday and was home for Thanksgiving. (Shannon had been shot in the chest) We PRAISE GOD for this report. let us continue to storm heaven for Shannon and her children. Also please continue to pray for Pastor Marty and Paulette Cooper, Shannon’s Dad and Mom.
We also have been told by Pastor Leonard Navarre that his daughter Tara Shaffer is home from the hospital after suffering from kidney stones. Please keep Tara in your prayers, and her hubby Pastor Brandon of Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, NM as he is still recovering from his broken leg! It has been several weeks of Doctor, Hospital and Rehab visits for the Shaffer family, let us storm heaven with our prayers for them! In Jesus name, AMEN!

I am very disturbed with the term “Black Friday” yes……I know it is a term that means merchants go into the profit column for the year…….but it is an negative term associated with Christmas, commercialization of this Holy season. Black Friday fits so much of our society that is in the dark about Jesus Christ. God is our source not money and gifts. Yes I preach against the grain, I do not preach the popular message, the prosperity gospel, I preach the only true prosperity, a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Words. I preach Jesus Christ, not money and gifts, Jesus Christ is our gift.
This is the scripture that God gave me today. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” Psalm 32:8 is that not powerful. What came to my mind is that the eye of God shines down on us like a beam of light and guides us, but we always have our self will, and can step out of God’s eye and His light, my prayer is that you do not step into the darkness of man.
This prosperity gospel that some preach not only goes against the true Word of God and the hardships we will face here on earth, God never promised us a rose garden, look at what they did to Jesus, read the whole book, but this message of prosperity by so many TV Pastor’s also goes against the widow who lives and gives her pennies. She is thrilled to give her pennies, she is perfectly happy in her 2 room apartment, no car. no thrills, no fancy clothes, no fancy nothing, but she has her Jesus, her Bible, and the walker and food that He has supplied Ellen. Her whole life is wrapped around Jesus Christ and her smile and spirit brightens the world around her! Amen! Ellen Jarmer is her name, I lived in the apartment next to her in Windom, Minnesota from about 1975 to 1977. She is now with the Lord. In the terms of the American society, Ellen was poor, very poor and disabled, paralyzed on her whole right side, but that is a lie, She was the most free spirited, giving person, Jesus believing person I have ever met, because she had a true relationship with Jesus Christ, Ellen Jarmer knew no black Friday’s.
Luke 21: 1-4 teaches us….As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
2 Timothy 1: 8-10
So don’t be embarrassed to speak up for our Master or for me, his prisoner. Take your share of suffering for the Message along with the rest of us. We can only keep on going, after all, by the power of God, who first saved us and then called us to this holy work. We had nothing to do with it. It was all his idea, a gift prepared for us in Jesus long before we knew anything about it. But we know it now. Since the appearance of our Savior, nothing could be plainer: death defeated, life vindicated in a steady blaze of light, all through the work of Jesus. The Message Bible.
