It’s is cold; and I’m finding it hard to feel good. So I lit a candle and put dinner on the stove! What a difference that makes! Just something warm and active. Joy fills my soul.
Thanksgiving is coming up and Christmas time is upon us -BUT what does all this mean to you? Shopping pressure / pleasing people??? Or loving this life Jesus was born to give!
For me, I think of my dear dear family and also my dad in Heaven, my mom, my brother and those childhood times that never leave my heart….and family grows.
This song “I’ll be home for Christmas” come to my heart as I am puttering around in the kitchen; and I share because it made me smile! No matter where our family is -JESUS has made us together in spirit forever.
I’ll be home for Christmas -but no matter where the location, where is home? Jesus is the home my heart will be. God’s Love is my home with God and with others.
Is that less than I hoped for? I see it as all I can’t obtain on my own!
God bless you during this change of seasons!
Love in Christ,
Karen Rowe
