Our theatrical ministry, Narrow Gate Theater of Albuquerque NM, is performing another major production for this coming Christmas season.We are very happy to announce our next production is Ebenezer Scrooge. It is newly adapted from the classic treasure, A Christmas Carolby Charles Dickens We have a cast of nearly 40 actors and our play features many familiar songs and some never before done songs. All new songs are originated from our company.
We are also most happy to announce our production will be performed at Heights Christian Church on Comanche and Louisiana NE, Albuquerque, NM. We are glad to associate with Pastors Mark Scales, Jeremy Banister, and the entire Heights Christian Church community.
The show times and dates are as follows:
Thurs, Fri, Sat Dec 11,12,13 at 7pm Sun Dec 14 at 2pm; and
Thurs, Fri, Sat Dec 18, 19, 20, at 7pm Sun Dec 21 at 2pm.

The script has all the richness of Charles Dickens heartfelt characterizations. The live theater experience only enhances the experience. It is no coincidence that in our era, where Christmas is now a ” holiday” and Jesus Name a controversy, that our production celebrates Jesus as the Lord Of Christmas.
There have been many adaptations of A Christmas Carol. I am confident the audience will enjoy ours. We want our audience to re – remember their familiar encounters of Scrooge with joy, delight, and tears. Our production will also show a seamless transition into the relevancy and necessity for the real Jesus played out into our times, hearts, and minds. It’s a collaboration of Dickens and Narrow Gate ” – something old and something new.”
Narrow Gate Theater (NGT – born from Dramatic Christian Ministries) is a bible acting ministry which began in January 2001 in South Bend Indiana. My wife Wendy, daughter Stephanie, and I ,were pastoring there. It has been 14 years since then and we have traveled { and still do} 24 states and 5 nations doing one man or very small cast events all using the bible as actors script. In November 2010, Wendy and I did our first NGT production My Wonderful Coma at a separate building at Crestview Baptist Church, Albuquerque.
Our vision is to continue doing regional evangelical theater emanating in and from Albuquerque, NM. Thank you for receiving our invitation to come to our new play, Ebenezer Scrooge. We want to also bless you with a thankful Thanksgiving. Lastly, we pray, that we each choose to meditate on the provision we have “in loving one another” as He loves us.
