UPDATED 12/26/14 8:45am: In the Minneapolis, Minnesota area gas prices have dipped below $2.00 a gallon: How low can it go? Gas drops below $2 a gallon in Twin Cities. strib.mn/1rnNye8

Good news continues for American consumers, gas prices are nearing $1.90 a gallon in Albuquerque, in other parts of the U.S. gas prices are already in the $1.85 range. Some state governments like here in New Mexico are already screaming about falling prices having an effect on state revenue. It is always good to get cash in the hands of American consumers and keep it away from government. Jingle in the pockets of consumers is the best stimulus plan.  I still say if they would have given every tax paying American a stimulus check, instead of investing in all those invisible “shovel ready” jobs, we would have been out of this economic mess long ago! By the way, whatever happened to those “shovel ready” jobs? Do we have such short memories? Instead of “shovel ready” jobs, we, the tax payers got manure shoveled in our faces!   OPEC will not cut oil production even if the price drops to $20 a barrel and it
is unfair to expect the cartel to reduce output if non-members do not, Saudi
Arabia said. Prices were above $100 a barrel earlier this year, a level which
Naimi said “we may not” see again.
