Ted Cruz Helps Obama

The Senate is unexpectedly staying in session over the weekend before voting on
a bill to fund the government through next September (the “CRomnibus”), thanks
to a late-night maneuver by Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. As a result, they
refused to consent to the procedural plan Reid and McConnell had worked out.
