A Visit To The Oil Boom in Williston, North Dakota

I want to share with you a great blog, it is one persons view of the oil boom in North Dakota. It is a fascinating, first hand look at an area where everybody that wants to work is working. The Williston, North Dakota and Sidney, Montana area have a special place in my heart, I worked radio in both towns in the late 70’s and early 80’s during an oil boom. KGCX AM had studios in both Montana and North Dakota, the only  radio station at that time in America that was broadcasting from two states with different time zones! When I moved to the area people were sleeping in cars and in the city parks! I still have very good friends in the area!
