Today, let’s move beyond any suffering we may have endured and  injustices incurred and press on to the high calling in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 2:19-23

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.

Matthew 5:10-12

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

1 Peter 4:12-14

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Romans 12:21

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Father, thank you for your Word. We know that many  have suffered because of truly being followers of Christ. Today, we declare all across this globe that your glory will be revealed. We do not overcome evil by repaying with evil but by doing good. You said to consider it pure joy, when we face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance (James 1: 2-3). Today, we are not victims of any circumstance, we are victorious.

Today, Declare I am pressing on to the high mark in Christ Jesus.  Today, Declare I am going up higher. Amen

Have a Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
