Knesset to Honor Dr. Myles Munroe and Leif Wellerop

Thursday evening will see a gathering of Israeli leaders at the recently opened Waldorf Astoria hotel in Jerusalem for an event to honor Christian supporters of Israel. The event, sponsored by the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and the Tourism Ministry, is formally titled “Night to Honor Our Christian Allies” and will this year feature a special tribute to Dr. Myles Munroe, who was killed last year in a plane crash and Lief Wellerop, who was the long time National Director of the ICEJ’s branch in Norway. “We have a lot to thank our Christian Allies for what happened in 2014,” Knesset Christian Allies Caucus director Josh Reinstein said. “This past year, we saw faith-based diplomacy around the world influence political decisions in ways that we could have never dreamed of just a few years ago.”
