I wanted to share this with you from a Dear friend of mine from my hometown, Windom, Minn. Tera Cory Elness, an AWESOME women of God,  posted this on her Facebook yesterday and I asked her if I could share it with you, because, yes, Ministry can be exhausting.Public Domain CC0

Ministry is exhausting.
Emotionally it can sometimes feel as though it is taking everything you’ve got.
But you get that. You minister everyday. To your spouse. Your children. Your coworkers. Your friends. Sometimes even perfect strangers in need of a helping hand.
Each time you offer a hug, lend an ear, reach out a hand, build up, lift up, raise up…you minister.
Is it exhausting? Mercy yes.
Physical labor’s got nothing on emotional weariness.
Is it worth it?
Absolutely positively YES. After all, it gives someone, in that moment, a glimpse of God at work.
Keep it up good and faithful servants!

Thank you for allowing us to share your post Tera!

This spoke to me because I am exhausted……..been going on empty and funds are drying up……….pour out all we got….we are not of this world…we forge ahead…. it’s been a very slow December and Jan. for funding for FGGAM, the slowest it has been since we started, ministry can be exhausting….

It warmed my heart when Shari Johnson posted this:

We’re Not Changing Bait, We’re Changing Waters!
