Archbishop Michael Sheehan of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe said 47 states have restrictions on late-term abortions, sometimes defined as those that occur after 28 weeks of pregnancy. New Mexico, one of the states that does not have any such limitations, draws women from elsewhere who want to end a late-term pregnancy. Around 1,000 pro life marchers prayed and marched for life from the Santa Fe Plaza to the Merry Round House in a light snow fall calling for the passage of a Parental Notification bill and a Women’s right to know bill…

Contact your state legislator and senator and urge them to support Pro Life legislation this session.

Let us pray that all of God’s people will speak to this as the New Mexico Catholic Bishops have.

Let us be in constant prayer that the murder of babies stops.
