Frank Haley of KDAZ AM730 reports: New Mexico is now one of 44 states reporting widespread flu, and state epidemiologists say they expect things to get worse in the coming weeks.
Within the past few weeks in New Mexico, there’s been a steady increase of people going to the doctor for flu-related symptoms.
The highest spread of the virus is being reported in the southeastern part of the state.
Health officials say If you have the flu, don’t go out and infect other people. Stay home.
