Today, let’s pray for all the children around this globe.
Matthew 18:2-6
He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Mark 10:13-16
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
Father, thank you for children. Today we join our Faith all across this globe and pray for safety, protection and love to abound for children. Today God we petition your throne room on behalf of children. Expose what needs to be exposed and bring truth to light we pray. May children know that they are loved first by their creator. We pray parents today would teach their children about you Jesus. You said in your Word that if we train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). That is your promise to us and we receive it. I thank you that you watch over your Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
Thank you that we are not called to perfection, as there is no perfect parent. I thank you that you make every crooked way straight on our behalf.
Today, we bring every child before you and ask you to bless them. Amen
