Does Anybody Care? Only 2.6% Turn Out to Vote in Albuquerque School Board Election
Pastor Dewey Moede
Either people just don’t care anymore or Albuquerque has just given up on the problem plagued School District.I have lived here since 1995 and the District has always been a mess, nothing changes, just constant dysfunction and changing Supt’s. APS is sick with problems and it has extended into the voting booth, KOB TV reported that only 7,615 people showing up to vote in yesterdays election, which is a measly 2.6% of eligible voters. I think people have had it with the District, especially after the Winston Brooks scandal handing this awful, so called leader hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars to leave and the Board not telling us the truth as to what took place. Peggy Muller-Aragon defeated Kathy Korte, who was just an awful example for our youth on how to behave yourself, and Barbara Peterson and Analee Maestas where also elected. Between the Brooks and Korte drama and the other drama Kings and Queens at APS people have had enough, in my estimation. APS is a taxpayers money pit. If you have ever seen that movie called, The Money Pit with Tom Hanks, you know what I mean. People have had enough of this monkey business called APS. Our God is not a God of confusion. This sort of stuff happens when God is not at the head. The Administration and School Board, The State and Federal Government need to repent, what a mess you all have made of our education system. Bringing God back into the classroom is the only true answer. Let me also say that I have known many teachers over the years at APS, they end having their hands tied behind their back and not allowed to TEACH and DISCIPLINE. Start the school day out by worship and praising God and reading the Bible and let God lead. Then recite the wonderful Pledge of Allegiance You would see a complete turn around in America! Amen! If God is not in our schools, government, businesses, families, Churches, yes there are churches who do not have God in them, they are all doomed for failure. As my friend Sandy Harrington says, “If God isn’t in it, it’s doomed for failure.” So when you look around New Mexico and the rest of the Country, no wonder we are failing as a Country. More here:
