FROM ICEJ NEWS: Iran boasts of satellite launch
Giuliani endorses Netanyahu speech
Iranian officials claimed on Monday that their scientists had successfully launched a domestically-produced satellite into space on top of a “Fajr” type rocket, which Western analysts believe can also be used to deliver a nuclear payload. The clerical regime in Teheran has announced ambitious plans to launch several more satellites into orbit over the next 14 months. In related news, a senior official of the Obama Administration spoke with the Jerusalem Post over recent reports in the Israeli media that Washington has largely caved in to Iranian demands in ongoing negotiations over the Islamic Republic’s renegade nuclear program. Calling the reports “complete nonsense” the official reiterated the Administrations assurances that it will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. Meanwhile, reports have trickled out of Teheran of growing infighting within the Iranian government over the pace of negotiations and various other issues.
Meanwhile, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani was in Israel for an economic conference over the weekend, taking time to visit Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and praise him for his decision to speak before the US Congress next month about the danger Iran poses to Israel and the World.
