health newsI am sure that FGGAM’s Doctor Joe Fawcett will have something to say about this report, I take herbal supplements so I am very interested in this claim:  New York Attorney General finds many herbal supplements aren’t what their labels claim

UPDATE: Here is Dr Joe’s response: DrJoe Fawcett Sadly, I’d agree with him because most of herbal products tested on the health food store’s shelves are of poor quality, including considerable product substitution, contamination and use of fillers… especially if they’re from a foreign country such as China. These impure herbal products greatly weaken the effectiveness of otherwise useful remedies, lowering the perceived value of ALL related products because of a lack of consumer confidence in them. Herbal remedies from reputable companies do work wonders when taken.

  1. I’m interested in Dr. Fawcett’s response. The article says “store brands.” I stay away from store brand supplements due to poor quality control and purchase through my chiropractor/nutritionist.
