Analysts called the warning an indication of Washington’s changed priorities regarding Iran, from stopping its quest for atomic weapons to coopting the Islamic Republic in the regional struggle with radical Sunni Moslem groups like the al-Qaida and the Islamic State (IS) terror militia.
