Please join me in praying for our nation, our leaders, and Prime Minister Netanyahu this morning.
“And again, ‘Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and sing praises to Him, all you people.” (Romans 15:11) Lord, we come to You on behalf of the United States of America, Your people, called by Your name, we humble ourselves before you and pray and see Your face. Lord, may we turn from our wicked ways so You will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land. Lord, You promise to bless those who bless Your people. May our country bless Jerusalem today as Prime Minister Netanyahu speaks on American soil before Congress. Lord, may our representatives turn to the Prime Minister and ask, “How are you doing?” May we take pity on them Lord. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and may those prosper who love her. May peace be within her walls and prosperity within her palaces. We say, “Peace be within you, because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good. Lord, may you make even his enemies be at peace with him. “Lord I declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise You.” (Psalm 22:22). In Jesus name, Amen.
Scripture points for today’s prayer:
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)
“I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)
“When a man’s ways please the Lord,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Proverbs 16:7)
“For who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem?
Or who will bemoan you?
Or who will turn aside to ask how you are doing?” (Jeremiah 15:5)
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will seek your good.
(Psalm 122:6-9)
Please continue to pray as the Spirit leads. Feel free to post your prayers in the comments below and let’s keep this prayer going throughout the morning.
God bless you!
