Dear Friends,
As expected, the Senate Public Affairs committee voted along party lines to defeat
the Late Term Abortion Ban and the Parental Notification of Underage Abortion bills yesterday. The debate produced emotional statement from especially the Senators as they shared their views on the issues.
It is anticipated that Senator William Sharer (R-Farmington) will call for a vote to “blast” the bills to the Senate floor for debate. If those Senators who had previously declared themselves to be pro-life or are uncertain will vote for the procedure, the legislation will move forward.
Please pray for the legislation that will save viable children in the womb and please call the following Senators to encourage them to vote for hearing the legislation.
